Evening everyone:)
Well what a wet miserable blinking day....and its still raining:((
l spoke to Phil today and Vic saw him....he's abit better today bless him. Some of you have asked if l would do a collection forJean, l think l mentioned that Phil agree's that donating to one of Jeans fav charities would be lovely. They had 4 charites that they donated to.....
Cancer Research, Diabetes, The Cat protection and The Dogs Trust....so if anyone wants to donate it would be best if you did it yourselves rather than through me, makes sense really?? l will send to the Diabetes Charity!!
Shaun...l do hope you are feeling better today, whats with the medication mess up, hope its sorted now??
Bethan.....well done to BF on starting his new job. How are those cats of yours (l want one of my own :-( :-(...). Who do you want to be the new Swansea manager?? Guess what Vic and l tried to get him tickets for Brighton V Crystal P at Brighton, for 13th May Mon...but on the website the other day it said all sold out....wellllll this afternoon l got an email to say still some available and we only flipping got 2 did'nt we, he's so chuffed, taking our daughter with him. lWe're going to the pub tomorrow evening to watch the away match at CP...they had better win tomorrow!!!!
Sue....Hows your rear end now, aw bless you, you must have had a rough time, let alone the operation, and hows your daughter, can't remember when the baby is due?? Take care:)
Tec.....your weather sounds abit like here...miserable.
Sandie...how did your son's interview go??? l owe you a pm....lol
Been to counselling with sister again today, it went quite well.

Sandie - it seems to vary, even from Caernarfon to Bangor. You often hear "y Nye" on the end of a word, and just as often hear " ey" used :-D. I'm afraid Bangor and Caernarfon Welsh defeats me - much too fast. Here in Merionnydd part of Snowdonia the Welsh is softer. As I was born a Valleys Boy, I cope quite well :-)

Sandie - You mean Bangor y nye - said quickly :-D :-D
Well it's wild and woolly up here today. The sea is white with fury and crashing up the beach - so different to the weekend when several visitors were out in the bay on jet ski's.
Shaun I hope you have a lovely day with your mum on her birthday.
Jude - Thinking of you and Vic, and especially Phil this week. What a difficult time for you all - I think a donation to a charity of his choice in memory of Jean is a very good idea.
Bethan - Good to see that b/f is settling into his new job, very good luck to him. Your garden will eventually come to be how you like it, but sounds like a lot of hard work to do first - bit at a time though.
I am slowly getting my head around the new laptop, and finding Windows 7 very different to Vista, but getting there. Also changed my internet provider this week just to complicate matters - so have a lot of work to do sorting it all out.
Well, Taffy is here for the day, and demanding to go outside for a play - so that's me about to get another soaking. I do wish he would learn to play on his own if he must go out in the wind and rain - silly dog :-D
Take care everyone, wherever you are, Hwyl fawr, Tec :-)

Catch up later~~~ Luv Sandie~~~

Hello Everyone. Just put computer on. I have rang 3 different departments regarding my ATTOS appeal and no bugger will tell me anything, the only thing they will say is `` once a decision as been made you will notified me by post`` so there you are fobbed off as usual . Thank you for your kind thoughts re Dad and also birthday wishes for Mum on Thursday. It's been Mum time but not finished yet, she dose not know yet but my brother and his wife are taking Mum out for the day on Saturday, Then on Sunday they are coming here for a roast lamb and tricle suit pudding lunch and sherry trifle tea. Then we might head towards Bangor for supper :-D
Hope you are all managing the best way you can. Sorry not mentioned anyone by name. Got to get horizontal .
You all take care.

Hello everyone. I'm browsing on here to pass the time because I can't sit still. My mum had a bad fall yesterday and broke her hip. They're operating this afternoon. She's eighty-eight in a couple of weeks but they had no choice but to operate and insert a metal plate. I have to 'phone at 4.30 and time is passing very slowly.

Afternoon all,
Well still keeping busy out and about. Every time I think that we are going to have a couple of quiet days something else is organised and we are off out again. How brilliant is that.
Jude, Sorry to hear about Jean. I never met her or even chatted with her on here very much but from what I gather from other people who either met her or spoke to her she was a very special lady. My condolences to Phil.
Bethan, Glad that boy friend has now got another job. Gardens take time and lots of patience to begin to look the way we would like them too. Especially neglected ones.
Sylvia, I noticed your post about me finally being retired. You are right it is so good to be able to do as you would like not what you have to do.
Sandie, Hi, you and Von seem to be the one's keeping this thread going at the moment. Isn't it a bit early for everyone to be on their holidays and going to Bangor.
Von, You and Sandie keep up the good work on this thread. Being such a busy person it's very much a case of as and when I can. Did I hear you say stop boasting! Can't remember if I said it but glad you enjoyed your holiday in the States.
To everyone else who drops in and reads hope you are all keeping well.
Yvonne from a grey, cold day. Not at all like the last two days of scorching heat.

Son back from his interview ..thought it a bit weird as the the gave him a totally simple IT test first...physiology I guess ? Perhaps it was just simple to him ?
Time will tell, they are still interviewing until next week !
I knew I should have washed clothes cos it's been fine all day !
This PC is deffo up for a re-haul , hubby keep s saying he'll do it. Keep getting messages that my C drive is limited...we've both deleted everything we can .GRRRR

Beth~~ Don't' mind ironing shirts actually, tho son has some awkward ones...sleeves not straight Grrr ! He bought 3 over the weekend ...he was very thoughtful and bought easy iron ones.He fancied a 100% cotton but knew I'd would NOT like to iron that. Still can't get the iron in his hand..he'd probably burn himself !
His interview is tomorrow. He's very disgruntled where he is now...but it's a wage and many poor peeps can't get jobs
Hubby is for 'rent' on gardening duties, but it's a bit far to your neck of the woods. When dad died we had to clear dad's garden as it was overgrown, but cos hubby was doing the house up he could see the potential of planting there which he did , the soil is so fertile..where ours is clay ( plenty of the horse fertilizer put in )..but we still get a fair crop.
Better post this ,in case it disappears
Talk care all luv Sandie.xx
