Just misted the plants in poly-tunnel with sea-weed extract to help the flowers set, it did not take many minutes because I was frying in a temperature of 87 f.
OH his crawling about under the the plants in shrubbery trying to get up ground-elder. Mr Badger paid us a visit at 20 past 3 this morning, for some reason he or she dose not like the idea of the recycle bin being were it is , so it was shunted down the path and the contents scattered everywhere. Hope it found what it was looking for.

I wonder where the Birthday Girl is, hope she did not start the celebrations before us.

Heading towards my bed for a hour, then doc's at 2.Oclock.

How are you all, being good I hope and not over doing it in your garden like I did yesterday. I have been resting most of the day and catching up with a couple of emails also shut myself in the shed and took several photos of the birds on the feeders through my little peep hole.

Von, No I never heard gardeners questions about poly-tunnels , is there a way of listening again to it, like IPlayer? Glad you have got everything sorted for your exhibition.

Jude, I'm a very tattered happy bunny, I new I would be today, but I had to put discomfort behind me and try and get up to date in the poly-tunnel with the planting and sowing of seeds.

Ann-C, are you going to the family history fair? We used to go to loads of them at one time and we would take a picnic with us and find a nice spot on the way back home.

Ann-Glos, how are you getting on, got over your holiday? Bethan would not of got burnt here today, the sun did not come out until 4-ish .

Gorgeous day here now, started off foggy>

l'm fed up with tummy bugs, couldn't go to son's today, imodium was required, slept all afternoon, fine now.......l hope:)...have Dr appointment for next Wed to check this out

We did have 13 rose bushes at the bottom of our garden, none now cause we dug em all up:((..they weren't climbing ones though.

This weather is gorgeous - garden looking lovely, flowers all looking good, kidney beans climbing the sticks, my one Arthur Bell climbing rose has over 100 blooms on it and the other about eighty

Bethan, naughty girl to burn. did you put plenty of sun cream on? My rodent ulcers are through burning when young, wouldn't wish the faff of getting rid of them on anyone.

Lovely day here but was cloudy this morning.
Not an enjoyable morning for me. Ergh!!! Just been to have half my teeth deep cleaned (Have injections so he can dig deep). That is why only half, he does a half at a time. Mentioned one of my 'remaining' front teeth is extra sensitive. He says a filling has come out and it is a deep hole. I can either have it out or a root filling. So I have an appointment for a root filling when I return from Lanzarote. (appt 24 July). Cost £200 altogether for two long appointments. I shall really look forward to that!!!! Have the rest of the cleaning next week and a dressing put on the tooth. I hate teeth. :-(

Well what a fab day :-D Been to Cowbridge had a nice time there and now chilling out in house as I burnt a bit lol Will be getting ready for birthday meal tonight with my dad and step mum and bf .
Tomorrow will be a busy day so might not chat but will have a nose on what's going on lol

wotcha gang - been spending a lot of time in the garden - such a big garden - think I've lost the bottom end of it to the brambles now

Son is in a much better frame of mind now and seems happier than he's been in a long time

I see there's a FHS fair in Rougemont School in Malpas on Saturday - anyone going?

What a lovely day, grey cool and a little breeze, tell a lie the sun did come out for a hour after tea. I'm a happy bunny but I will pay for it during the night and tomorrow that's for sure. Owing to the fact it was a lot cooler in the Poly-Tunnel I was able to catch up with the planting and also sowed a lot of seeds in trays, it was a slow job because I had to keep coming down to the house for a lie-down and rest every other hour.
But I done what I wonted to, OH also had a lovely time in the garden and also checking to see if I was being good and not lifting anything.
No food all day , just drinks and the odd welsh cake so it was down to chippy at 6.15 and my goodness they tasted great, the batter was so crispy on the fish, usually they plaster it in vinegar which makes it soggy.

That's my lot folks, heading for bed.

I think it's more they have the basic care it is so sad as when the partying was at it's worst you could hear the kids screaming until 4-5am and either they were ignored or sworn at to be told to shut up .
Another neighbour before I moved here said she saw the social go in once and actually spoke to them and said they were concerned about violence , drugs, drink and partying but they were told basically what I have already said about needing proof .
I think the only way those kids would have the care and love they need is to be put else where as really at home the only time it could happen is if she leaves the trouble makers behind , however after the length of time it's been I doubt she would put herself out :-(

Maybe the kids are ok Bethan if she knows that she is being monitored. I hope so.

I have actually bought flowers for the garden and potted them :-D so finally flowers instead of weeds yay .

AnnGlos: Next door I think the problem is most visits before were pre booked so of course she played the perfect mum and watching herself and really how can they do anything without proof ? I did think the fact the police have been called a number of times would show something but sadly not !

Jude, how dare you have sun. It is cloudy here and quite grey, has been all day. Not cold though but somebody has pinched our sun.
Glad sis got on ok at the group, hope todays goes well as well.

Bethan, at least somebody visited next door, you read so much about children suffering and not getting help. Hope theya re ok anyway, it would worry me.

I am sure that you are going to have a great birthday, especially as you are celebrating for two days. :-D

Jude: Sunny day here too :-D Sounds like your son is lucky to have you and Vic as parents :-) That's good news about sis too !
Chavs wise I know someone reported them as I was being a snooper as I heard 2 women talking in the street but from what I saw it seemed more of a general visit , I have heard though social services has basically been there since day 1 , tbh the youngest kids I never see only hear them in the garden while the little girl (who used to knock peoples door to find someone to talk to) looks normal weight but you can never tell . I really do feel for the kids but at the same time I wish they would all just bugger off :-|

Bethan....forgot to ask about the chavs.....do you think that someone had reported them then??Have you seen the kids and do they look underweight. God how awful living next door to that as well as the noise.

You're right...so many people seem to think because they have taken drugs with no adverse effect (or atleast they think there is no effect), that they are ok!!
My son is still suffering, bless him, he has a good job and is a good hard worker, fab dad, but has no belief in himself and gets quite low sometimes. He's got so much to give and is just gorgeous:))

SilverBuddy......hope we can meet up, will pm you asap, waiting to hear back from daughter, her partner is doing a 5k on the Sunday we need to suss what time it will be finished.

Shaun...how are you, l do remember you saying you don't like the heat,bit like me, but always have a bottle of water with you, especially in that polly whatsit.
Do you still have the birds visit your window ledge??

Sister phoned last night, she went to the group session, she did'nt talk, thats fine she's obviously not ready to yet,but remembered pretty much all that went on...yesssssss:)) A one to one this afternoon, we're having lunch first, then she'll call in here after her session!!
