Hazel...so pleased your MP is helping you, fingers crossed he can do something. Thats good about Duane's eye:) Hope the results about his mental health team and medication were good??

Vic saw jean this afternoon....she was asleep 80% of the time bless her and not really with when awake. Apparently she's been out in the chair all day, so maybe for too long??

Just got a letter from my MP he said he is looking into my case and will get back to m as soon as he finds out whats going on. I got letters Friday telling me my rend and council tax has been stopped. I went to council yesterday and they said they let me know more in a few days.

Sorry to hear Jean isnt to well still. Give her my love when you speak to her next.

I have been busy this morning putting clean covers on bed and sorting out coffee table as full of paper work. Then done few other bits, think i over done it abit, so resting now. Bu it needed to be done as Teri cant get over to help me.

Went to hospital with Duane yesterday about his metal heath term, he had to go back today so they can see if he needs his tables changed. Just waiting for him to phone me to see what they said. His eye is looking alot better, but his hayfever has started bad so told him to go to his doctors get something for it.

Thinking of all who are having bad time at mo. {{{{HUG}}}}

Diane...l am so sorry you had a bad time at the JSA office, but that lady was kind to get you a Dr appointment sorted. The tablets will prob take a few weeks to kick in but they will help, you've tried for such along time without them.Take care...xx

l was getting worried all last week cause Vic had'nt tried his on for the christening, he did so on the day!! he could have put on weight since last yr when he bought it...mennnnn!!!!

Sallie...thanks for telling us about Dutch, l saw Purples thread too and have added to it. She must do as she is told!!


Our Jean...twice now we have asked them to sort Jeans nails out, they are dirty and very long, but because of her being diabetic we and the nurses can't do anything!!!!! So we have asked if someone can....nothing will happen l know it won't, she would hate it if she realised. All she did yesterday was fiddle with tissues and try to tidy her trolly top, she would'nt eat, then we managed to get her to eat a bannana, she needs to drink but needs prompting, they have'nt the time to do that:((((
Lets hope Vic finds her in a better state today!!??

l was at Oxfam this morning initially to do the till, but the manager had it mixed up, so l thought l would do some more online stuff...yeh rite, the online system was down so could'nt do that.....and l had just managed to find items and the photo's that matched too, which is getting more difficult to do, god knows why though...grrr.......so l am home now and about to start once again to sort my craft room out.

l'm going to add a photo of something l have made....need advice on how to finish it, please!!

....today would have been dad's birthday (100 ) and FIL died on his birthday.
Dad died when he was 90 in 1993, FIL died when he was in his70's in 1998.

I'm sorry you were distressed , pleased tho that advisor had the good grace to take you apart from an open interview and speak to you in private.
I've always said that's how it should be.
I wouldn't want to to discuss mine or my family affairs to people listening behind,
It's like the bank ...,tho you can ask for a private interview there and can do in the DWP

just a quick post as it is late and I need to get some sleep.

Jude yes it was nice to have the family around and cook for them :-)
No I won't be doing another course for a while.

Well I had to sign on today for JSA and ended up in a small room with my adviser as I got myself into such a state :-(
She rang my Dr for an emergency appointment as she was so concerned about me, she cancelled my Dental appointment so I could see Dr. Well he has signed me on the sick again with depression and put me on medication and want's to see me again in two weeks. Not to happy that I am on antidepressants as I have fought against this for a long time but I suppose the Dr knows best.

Been a nice sunny day in the North, a bit chilly though.
Good to see everything growing in the garden - I have lots to do out there.

Shaun I hope you manage to catch up with the polytunnel, and the planting when you feel up to it, but remember your health comes first, though I know how frustrating it is for you.
There are things here I would like to do, but can't, very annoying. Anyway, keep doing as the doctor said and you'll soon be back to doing things - take care.

Von - I expect you are on the train now, crossing the States - how interesting that must be - enjoy it :-)

Jude - I am so sorry to see that things are not so good for Jean - hopefully if she can get back to the Home then she may improve in that environment, instead of the hospital. They may look after her better there.
Is she able to read her Kindle?
Taffy was with us the weekend before last, and spends every Wednesday and Thursday with us. He calls every morning at 9am for his biscuit, sometimes he stays for an hour, sometimes he just goes straight home after :-D

Sallie - Good to see you here - I hope all is well with you and the family. We are both fine thank you, and just getting on with it, as you do.

Sorry to see that Dutch has thrombosis on her lung - that is very painful, and can be dangerous, but she is probably on a Hepparin drip to disolve the clot so in the best place. I had that problem a few years ago.

Sandie I hope your son does well at his interview - it is a good idea to have another option these days, no one is safe it seems.
I am so glad to be out of the rat race and uncertainty of the jobs market.
The days of a job for life if you kept your nose clean are sadly over I'm afraid.

Bethan - I hope your b/fs interview went well for him too, and that they don't keep him waiting for a decision too long.
Suppose you can always keep him occupied with a paint brush. Good luck to him in his search for work.

Sandie, like you I wasn't aware that Joyce had a problem with her lungs either. I was shocked this evening to hear her how poorly she sounded.....just hope the medication will soon kick in so that she will feel a lot better.

I thought to send her a card too, so will make one and send it off tomorrow.


I'm sure that Joyce will love the card you have sent to her....with it being a funny card it will cheer her up.

Thanks to everyone for good luck message for bf , he thinks interview went ok will hear at end of week but until then he continuing to apply for other jobs .
I spoke to head department today about the main appointment I'm waiting for and the girl is chasing it up for me :-D
I have Dr's tomorrow as paper runs out on the 1st but appointment I could get was tomorrow only :-S I am hoping I am allowed back to work , I know nothing much has changed but I want to be "normal" again ! :-|

Jude, so sorry to hear that Jean wasn't very good today. It must be very upsetting for Phil, you and Vic to see her how she is. It's a shame that the people from the nursing home haven't yet been to the hospital to assess Jean, keep our fingers crosssed that they will go tomorrow.
Sending her lots of love and positive thoughts, and hope she will be back in the nursing home very soon.

Glad to hear that you and Vic had a good weekend at Florence's christening.

Joyce phoned me on her mobile this evening, to let me know that she is in hospital, she has thrombosis of the lungs......she sounds really poorly. Just hope that the medication they are giving her will soon start to work and that she will feel a lot better.



Shaun, how are things with you? I hope that you are resting as much as you can and that you are not in too much pain and discomfort.

Weather has been bright and fairly sunny most of the day, but with a cold wind. I just wish it would warm up a bit more.


Bethan, sorry to hear that your boyfriend and some of his mates are losing their jobs. I really hope that bf did well in the job interview today and will get the job.

Also hope that your are feeling better today, and you are not having any dizziness.


Sylvia, so sorry to hear about your daughter's godfather, let's home that they will make him as comfortable as they can.

Jude ~~It must be saddening to seeing Jean being confused it is a with every relative or friend...you are the one that called her Auntie Jean :)...she is both :-D


Yes son looks quit dapper in his new suit, was parading around in it with different shirts, his interview is on the 8th....thinks he may have to pull a sickie.
I'm not happy with that , but he can't take a day's holiday because of the set up.
But as his job has moved recently and is under risk....well,don't tell your employer you are looking for another job !

Hubby and I are godparents to my niece in North Wales, I was the first person she rang when her parents split up.
Long story..probably said it before.

Tec, no, you are not wrong regarding delaying planting in the poly-tunnel and I'm no expert. But there's a lot to do in there before I can get on with the planting , finish disinfecting the staging and pots to do yet. Hope you and your good lady are managing okay.
