Good thinking Ginnie....Julia may I please put in an order for a nice cashmere pair of orange and lime bloomers, in a kind of lacey pattern for ventilation purposes :-) Much obliged:-) BC XX

OMG, BC, the mind boggles! I think Julia's either doing a pre-spring tour of all the garden centres in and around her area, or she's already done that and is in her greenhouse sowing all the seeds she's bought. If not, and she's still knitting, can I please order a pair of soft wool black socks to protect my bunions, with a touch of sparkly silver so I can wear them in the evening and still look sexy (not!) - also a pair of black n silver bloomers to match (in a lacey pattern for the same reasons as BC) - I live in hope! Hope you're OK Julia.

No, I reckon she is busy chitting her seed potatoes.
Well either chitting potatoes or chatting up doctors.

Persephone Report 3 Feb 2011 22:10

Well I wish she would get back to chatting with us so we know she is okay. It has been too many days now. Do you think her computer might have gone phut? We were all worried and concerned about our Berona on the Aussie thread and it was her PC that had crashed. Sue got in touch with Berona's daughter in the end. Is there someone else one can contact to find out?

Oooh, AnninGlos - I think she'd say it's a bit early for chitting, but let's hope she's chatting, if not here, somewhere safe and, preferably, to a nice young doctor lol!

Joy Report 4 Feb 2011 10:59

Seriously, is anyone in personal contact with Julia? She does have to have hospital treatment every now and then so perhaps that is where she is and, hopefully, she will be back with us again in due course.

Conan Report 4 Feb 2011 12:42

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Feb 2011 12:46

Somewhere at the back of my mind I seem to remember her mentioning that she had to have a minor op or treatment or something but she didn't say when.

Let's hope she soon returns to put us out of our misery.

Merlin Report 4 Feb 2011 13:35

Prickly, I,ve got a standing order for shallots,so the commission for you on them is "ZILCH" as for the Arran Jumpers, I,m only taking 15% and I,m going for the franchise,( With fast deliveries via my twin turbo supercharged Zimmer.)included. **M**. Get back soon Julia,

PricklyHolly

PricklyHolly Report 4 Feb 2011 13:51

Yeahbutnobutyeahbut..........i am prepared to sit next to her whilst she is knitting, to pick up any stitches she might drop!!
Not easy work that!! :>))

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Feb 2011 13:53

Oh I am sure that Julia doesn't drop stitches.

Conan

Conan Report 4 Feb 2011 13:59

I will not be beaten on price !

I'll do it for 12.5% plus as much Sanatogen as she can drink. Plus the services of a _professional_ stitch picker-upper.

Merlin

Merlin Report 4 Feb 2011 14:08

Ah, but what about the Magic Deliveries included?**M**.:o))))>.Anyway I think Prickly is a "Welder" not a stitch picker upper.

Conan

Conan Report 4 Feb 2011 14:25

No need for magic deliveries. I've got a deal with IKEA. They will collect and sell direct to the public.

All Julia has to do is knit the sleeves and the trunk. We'll sell them in flatpacks and the punters will sew it all together when they get home.
