I am wondering if any one else remembers a family member talking about or belonging to the Geoids?

My Mum belonged in the 50's, I remember seeing photographs of the group in their 'Madam Butterfly' production garb.

My Mum worked at Kings College in the Geology Department, for a Professor Woldridge (spelling?),
I think he may have started the group.

I am interested to know if anyone else has knowledge or memories of the group.
