Just thought i would ask it seems i am able to post on here and yet i am unable to access my tree for several hours now - is anyone else experiencing the same problem - not sure how long it will go on for - Genes do not seem to give any warning or indication as to how long work will go on for... Thanks

ok so its nearly 24hrs since my last post on this subject and i still am unable to get onto my family tree to update it - Not impressed. I have contacted genes and i await a response.

My problem is still the same as yesterday Mark, with the
same message.

Mark I know its frustrating but all these things take time, don't let not getting into your tree stop you keep adding more, maybe you should think of a FTM
and another tree site to add to GR's.

Mark... very frustrating for you.I like to do things while fresh in my mind too.
If I dont add things right away I forget.

Just about to start a thread on the same topic.
Twice today (8am & now) it´s taken well over 10 minutes to get onto the site.
Keep getting messages such as "need your password" which comes up automatically," Link to server is broken," "server can´t find the page," etc.
When I finally do get in, sit for what seems like hours waiting for the stupid little arrows to appear on the home page, because can´t get into any of the boards until they do.
When I finally get onto the board I want, I´m faced for several seconds by a blank page. Eventually, the text appears.
It´s been like this now all week.
I´m a fairly patient person, but am on the verge of losing it.

to the edge of my patience, but such a lovely day nothing was

I'll have you know Merlin my ancestors were Haggis Hunters
and we often have a week-end away for a Haggis shoot.lol

May I suggest that if anyone is experiencing problems you put it on the suggestions board because Phil Moir the site developer is answering queries on there.

I posted there yesterday and he has responded to that thread
