I don't think people intentionally ignore anyone. What happens is somebody (person a) sees a remark that interests them and they reply to that, meanwhile somebody else (Person b) posts but the reply just typed by person a leapfrogs over the post by person b and person a doesn't see it. So they are not ignoring anyone, they just haven't seen it. then, as has been said people can typ fast so the thread leaps on and person b gets left behind. No Barbra it is not intentional.

And , yes the panto was geat fun.

I often post and kill off any reply . I think I come across as bit straight laced cos i dont have the art of banter unless I,m face to face. Doesnt worry me though I just move on.

I dont think its clicky its just I dont sometimes chip in with the right amount of levity on a thread thats taken off .

que sera :-D

yes, of course one gets ignored at times

.................... it can happen on a thread with people you've never "met" before, or on a thread with people you consider friends.

It isn't usually deliberate .................. more a case of they just haven't seen your post, for whatever reason.

Sometimes I just don't know what to say in response to a post ..... and I may well not make any response, which I guess counts as delibertae ignoring :-(

But that usually is when someone asks for help with modern society in the UK (social welfare, etc), and I just do not know anything about the UK now after over 40 years overseas.

take care

Good evening all from NZ,

Barbra, when I first joined Genes, the threads moved so fast I literally couldn't keep up. So many funny postings, I so wanted to join in.

Sometimes I chip in my ten cents worth to a thread. Most times I am acknowledged.

I bit the bullet and joined Motie's thread. Even that leaves me in its wake at times....... I have 'popped' onto the Welsh thread too, and have been made most welcome !!

I would love to make it to a 'meet', just waiting for my ship to come in....When it does, I will collect SueMaid on my way.... OR you could all come down under for a meet :-D. We kiwi's and Ozzies know how to party ;-).

I often peep into threads and enjoy the banter,

Friday night here, so time for my dinner and vino :-)

Have a lovely weekend all,

Susan

ps: wonder how many posts have gone up while I have been typing :-(
