I just want to let who ever will listen how hurt and angry i am.
I dont know if anyone will remember but in 2009 i started a thread by the name of "A Proud MuM".And also reported on it in 2010 when my son passed away from rare cancer and people on here were so kind to add how they felt, which i truly appreciated.
I went to print it out the other night as i thought it would be the right time to hand it to my son's children to read. Can you imagine my hurt when i found it had gone from my threads.
I have contacted Genes and while they say they are sorry for my loss which i appreciate they say they cant find it on my threads or on the site.
How many more has this happened to.
Of all the threads to be deleted "why this one"
I am so hurt no one will ever know.

Thank you one and all who posted on the thread.

Pam, I am very sorry to read this. Please send a message to Phil Moir of genes reunited - posts can be found by him in the suggestions board; he restored an Irish research tips thread yesterday in the genealogy chat board.

I do remember.

INFORMATION ONLY for those Searching for IRISH Gen

his post saying he had restored the thread is one of the last posts in the thread.
Click on his name to send a message to him.
If you have a problem sending a message, let me know and I shall send one to him for you.

I am so sorry to read about this upset Pam. You must be feeling devastated, since I know that these things are so absolutely important when losing a loved one and it would be something for your all to cherish if it can be successfully retrieved. It sounds very hopeful from what Joy has said above.

I thought i would like to let all of you that after nearly a year i had to contact Genes only to be told that were sorry but the thread had gone forever and could'nt be reinstated.
You can imagine how i felt.Ihave lost all the wonderfull messages from everyone here.
I must say how bitterly dissapointed i was that i had to make contact with Genes .
All i can say is that if anyone has a thread like the one i had please please copy it i would hate for anyone to be deverstated the way i was when i found it had gone.
Once again i would like to thank you all for your support.
