Island, I think ALW was dubious if Tim had the stamina to cope with back to back arena shows and david has a proven record as an actor. However, I tend to agree with GB it does look as though they get into the last 2 two nights running which must mean the same people voting, sadly I wonder, if it is youngsters voting, that Davids slight speech impediment, which doesn' affect his singing at all is the reason for him getting fewer votes.

I thought Roger was really good last night, Rory is consistantly good but, in a way, I can't see him in the part. However as ALW has said nobody really knows what Jesus should look like so I am sure he could do it. I also liked Jeff and Nathan.

Rory gets my vote, I've watched him on youtube with his band and it gives a better idea of how he would sing the less rocky songs...I'd like to see them sing a ballad tonight for comparison.

Yes Ann, I did hear Webber say that but he had to say something. He couldn't kick him off for his performance.

For me Tim has the best vocal range.

Well a bit surprised with the bottom two tonight - Rory and Niall.

Wasn't surprised at Niall being in bottom 2 but Rory,
didn't expect that. Saying that it is open to any of them
being there as voices are beginning to show the strain
in some cases. Ben very much impressed me last night
and can see him along with a couple of others as Jesus.

But I think Niall will get a part in something else. Did you hear that ALW said about a producer saying Niall would be good in other shows. I can actually see him as Marius in Les Mis, actually I can also see David as that part as well.

Phew! I am fair wrung out with the tension :-S after last night's shock of Rory being in the bottom two I didn't think I could bear to watch lol.

Yes it was tense but the two eliminated were not a surprise really. I do like Jon's voice although not for the part. I could listen to a CD of his if he made it.

Was difficult last night but imo the two who went
were not right for the part of Jesus. Like some have
mentioned there are other roles that would suit them
better.
Now it really gets hard to vote someone off.

I do think Rory has a great voice, and though it's entirely irrelevant lol, he has lovely eyes :-D now if I was 30 years younger I might be as daft over him as Dawn is over Roger ;-)

I think any one of them could win and bring something special to the role though.

So looking forward to the final tonight, and though I've liked
Roger,Rory and Ben and found it difficult to choose between
them I hope Ben wins through as he has stood out for me the
most to play the part of Jesus.

I liked it that ALW said he felt so lucky because any one of last night's four could have played Jesus and he wouldn't have a problem with any of them. It is now immaterial that the public votes for their favourite as they are all equally good and equally able to play the part. I think Nathan rather cooked his goose by being arrogant enough to tweet with a picture of himself wearing a crown of thorns, not a good idea, although I suspect Andrew would have saved Roger that night anyway as he likes the fact that he is strong and has proved he can survive the stress of back to back shows.

I have a feeling that Rory will win but I like them all. I also am convinced that ALW will find a part for David who I also liked a lot.

Chris Moyles is on the cast list so I bet the back stage area will be a good laugh

I've not watched it by my friend has been an avid viewer until this week - she says Dawn French is too over the top and was upset when one of the contestants was criticised for being "over confident" - would have thought that would a required "fault" to be in a West End production
