So pleased that she had a good time and arrived home safely. Bet she slept well too. :-D

Seems as if she had a great time. You don't stop worrying as they get older, but you learn to handle it better.

Now you can both sleep soundly.

I think I'm getting used to all this as I was way more laid back than I ever imagined I would be.

Tad embarassed that the parent I was teasing before the trip has turned out to be her new English Teacher *gulps* but hey...I'm sure he won't hold it against her...even though I stole his coffee lolololol.

Wrap the bacon round the chicken and cook it, serve with the veg (save the egg for tomorrow's breakie.)

I wouldn't say no to a nice fat riddled beef roast with yorkshire puds and loads of gravy. Yummy....

Instead, I have in my fridge.... a chicken breast (organic), some lean pieces of bacon, yoghurt, broccoli, carrots, peas, eggs....I need inspiration! :-D :-D

Officially yes she should be at school tomorrow..but unofficially they've tipped us all the nod and said they'll only be watching videos and it's a half day so they're not particularly expecting to see them lol. I must admit I am flaking a bit now lol x

Hope she doesn't come back a vegetarian (unless of course she is one already!) as my son did when he came back from France on a school trip. They had visited an abbatoir (?) and he turned veggie for a few months.

I had just spent my last few pennies on buying a lovely piece of beef as a special treat for his homecoming! :-D :-D :-D

Oh yes sorry, I was thinking she was going yesterday. She won't be worn out until she gets home though, they seem to keep going when with their friends. You will be the exhausted one. Will she have to go to school tomorrow?

Thanks Ann...I'm actually not as worried as I thought I would be. She texted me about half an hour ago to say they were just about to go through the tunnel. So I should imagine she's about there by now ! x
