Remember the Alamo. (The Old GR Screen!)

Well, fellow GR members, I truly must be smarter than the average bo bo bear! (For a change.)

While many of us don’t like the stark whiteness of the new pages - makes ‘em look like a whiteout in a Yukon snowstorm - I was a real smartie pants jus’ now.

When I awoke my P/C I did a snapshot - that’s a PrintScreen - of the old (my last GR) page.
This is a copy and it shows what the screen looked like yesterday before the change.
Do you remember what it looked like when you said “Goodbye” forever?

You can’t recall?? Oh, dear!! Wait. I’ll describe it to you!

The font is such a soothing green - oh, it’s really, REALLY pretty, I know you’d love to see it.
It's SUCH a shame you can’t!

It is on two BEAUTIFUL background shades of (to me) grey - perhaps you spell it gray, but don’t get fussy and carried away! - you’d likely kill to have it on your screen, gray or grey!.

At the top see the stunning colours purple - and blue - and orange - burnt orange. They really look lovely!
A treasure indeed.

To the left there are also beautiful shades of (Lincoln?) Green(s). How soothing.
A SITE to behold, to be sure!

Don’t you wish you’d done this PrintScreen?

How does me being so smart sound??? Ah, yes….

Nah nah nee nah nah!!

PS. If you have withdrawal symptoms I’ll send you a PDF of the PrintScreen - if it comes through on GR.
(Perhaps you care to make a small donation to:)

Enjoy the new looks, folks. ‘Cause that’s what we have on GR, like it or not!
Give it time.
