Hi Julia
I certainly was not pointing the finger at any individual and I do not "scour" these pages - I rarely even look at them. I merely wished to refer to how some people (not on here) seem to be unable to differentiate between real life and fictitious drama.
Please accept my apologies if you felt I was having a personal dig because that was not the intention.

Thanks Nickydownsouth for letting me know when this is being shown. Abit late for me, but the OH will record it.

Many Thanks

Errol,
there was plenty of support in this household for the murder of the two police officers, and a very quick understanding of why this programme was removed from the screens by the BBC. And it is not a" clamouring for a tacky show to be shown". As has been mentioned, it is like reading a book and not finding out the end.
And with your holier than thou attitude, I would have thought you would have had more things to do than scour these pages to find something to hit upon.
This was merely a programme, the last episode of which was removed by the BBC, and which I, and one or two others wanted to know the outcome.
Heartfelt support was given, not a clamouring for a tacky show. Thank you.

Thanks Nicky for adding this info,
will look forward to the conclusion of the series,
or else it will be like reading a good book, and someone has torn the last few pages out.

I also hasten to add,I agree with your comments, especially the last paragraph.

Also I will not be drawn into why the programme was taken off air,I have more respect for the families concerned.
Thank you again Nicky. :-)

This series would have been written months maybe years before the tragic killings of the 2 policewomen in Manchester, as that incident happened between the third and the final episode I would imagine that BBC decided not to show it as such a sensitive time.

I, and I'm sure many others fully support that motion, in the same way they wouldn't show a film about an air disaster if there has been a plane crash.

However Good Cop is purely a tv drama....not a biopic or documentary, it was very well written and acted, and I amongst others have been waiting for the final episode, in no way does that mean I or anyone else who watched it are uncaring or not horrified by the deaths of 2 policewomen in the line of duty.

I've just watched an episode of Munroe, a fictional tv show, where there has been an unsuccessful operation on person with a brain tumour, this was also very well written, handled sensitively and well acted, does that mean i shouldn't say how good it was because it may be disrespectful to someone with a similar problem?

Real life situations are portrayed in books films and on tv on a regular basis, I really don't feel that any of us are " clamouring for a tacky tv show to be shown" and certainly not in any disrespect for the policewomen or their families, in fact I think everyone that added to this thread commented about the tragedy, and totally understood the BBC's decision.

We simply were following a very good tv drama and wanted to see it through to its conclusion.

I would have thought that there would be a heartfelt swell of support for the officers involved rather than a clamouring for a tacky show to be shown

Think we should all have to badger the BBC.... tonight at 9pm they have a repeat of Michael McIntyre Roadshow, I know he is very funny, but that would be a good time to show it surely?

Not heard anything about the rescheduled showing of this programme yet. But, one of the presenters on our local radio was on about this yesterday. He too had been following it, but said that no date has been given for it yet. So, I will be keeping my ears peeled aswell to him
He did say however, that the BBC were given alot of stick for WITHDRAWING it. There must be some very sad people about if they couldn't understand the reason why
.
Keeping them peeled

So has anyone heard when the final episode of Good cop will be shown?

Like others I totally understand why it wasn`t shown after the deaths of the 2 female police officers.

Thought it might be shown tonight as its a week later, but it was Crimewatch...

As you say quite rightly the BBC stopped the showing of this final episode of good cops.
We have also watched every one,I'm sure it will be shown at a later date.
I will let you know if I find out when.

My heart goes out to the families of these poor policewomen,so tragic.

kind regards
Trish

Quite rightly, the BBC removed this programme from it's schedules last Wednesday night, in the wake of the terrible events in Manchester.
However, the OH and I have been following this from the beginning, and this would have been the last episode.
If anyone sees this scheduled again,as they are apt to show this with low publicity, would you please let me know,

Many,many thanks
