Do excuse me for a while, I am 'tackling the garage' :-0

You had to lower the tone and bring in baguettes didn't you Rose !
you know now, that someone, will be reporting this thread, well it's your own fault for overstepping that line, serves you right :-D

If I do go Jo, I'll take some photo's, hope you find some strong men before Monday, good luck :-D

Are baguettes small bloomers? :-D

Wooden bread box here. A loaf isn't around long enough here for the need to keep it in the fridge :-S there wouldn't be enough room anyway.

My bread used to keep very well in The Northern Rock and in Barclay's with a small float in my poke, but things HAVE changed.

In wooden bread bid, OH eats copious amounts with everything (even rice) so never have chance to leave in freezer.

Did freeze some to come back to from camping last week only to find electric off Doh.... :-(

Libby Report 29 Sep 2012 21:38

Just checked my metal one. Almost a full loaf plus a nearly half one that I was going to use for a bread and butter pudding.Halfish one is now in the bin ... gone mouldy. It was ok this mornig :(. There is more on top of it though .... mainly junk mail.

Don't get me started on the biscuit barrel. It is obviously just for show because biscuits once opened just seem to disappear ;-)

JoyBoroAngel Report 29 Sep 2012 21:41

Give my daft dog a choice between a slice of bread and a pork chop

and the bread wins hands down :-D

JustJohn Report 29 Sep 2012 22:01

Joy That is off thread. Question is very clear - metal or wooden. Nothin about dogs and chops. ;-)

I prefer a metal sausage myself. And wooden bloomers :-(
