Can we all send positive thoughts to Jean, she was admitted to hospital yesterday late afternoon having had a fall. She could possibly have broken her hip and is going to theatre this afternoon.

When Phil phoned the hospital earlier the docs had'nt been round, so not sure of damage etc.....but nurse said she's going to theatre.

l have just rung the hospital and said "All at GR send their love"
This is also on the Welsh thread.

Positive thoughts to Phil too, he's in so much pain with his back and now all this extra worry:((

Jean came on one of my threads yesterday afternoon. I wondered why she did not come back. Oh dear.

Update on Jean......

Jean had her hip pinned, l presume that means its a break?
She was abit sleepy still but wooshed down some soup and toast:)

The visiting hours are different in this ward so Phil did'nt have as long as normal with her:(
Tomorrow we will get there earlier:)

Evening everyone:)

Saw Jean this evening....she's sitting up and doing all she should, not in too much pain. Eating quite well and telling another patient to be quiet!!!
Don't know how long she'll be in hospital though. No idea how long these kind of breaks take to heal, spose it depends on the patient?

l gave her all your love, bestes wishes, hugs etc.....forgot to take the list of names though, will do that Fri. She was really chuffed that so many wish her well:)

Phil is phoning the hospital tomorrow, if anything to report l will get back to you. We can't take him tomorrow ( :-( )....but will Fri.
