Smedley family c1901

Hello again,
I've just been taking another look at my tree and realised that the Smedley family have been taken off my tree...
This is possibly because we were not actually related - more that Nellie and Albert Smedley were part of our family as my Grandmother was dying at the time and they looked after us all, even when we came to Cambridgeshire, as we visited them in Derby as much as we could - and they became our family right until their deaths.
I have lots of lovely photos of Nellie (Ellen) and Albert everywhere, and also me with Uncle Albert holding me on a donkey on a trip to Skegness, which I have, but cannot find them on this new tree - yet they were our step-grandparents in our eyes and it would be a shame if they were lost from our family history.
Is there any way that this could possibly be sorted out to put them back where we want them, please?
Many thanks
Jayne

Hi Jayne,

Assuming you mean your tree on GR, they will be there somewhere.

It might be best to contact GR and ask them to sort it for you.

Good luck

edit, maybe someone can give Jayne the correct email adress?

Thanks for letting me know - it's just that I searched the tree and it didn't come up.
Will contact GR to see if they could help.

Hmmm........Hello Jayne

I'm not sure i understand.

Your tree belongs to you.

The only person who can add or remove people from your tree is you.

So,.... i don't understand how the Smedley family can possibly be missing from your tree.

Hi Pricklyholly,
I contacted the team to see if the info was taken from my tree and they found that the Smedleys had disappeared. The lady apologised about this, but I have found a way to get them back on the tree, so it's all ok, thank goodness.
Thanks for your help though!
