Many times recently I have gone to bed really quite upset. Because someone has picked up the wrong meaning of what I wrote, or looked for fault in my post. Some criticism was very clever and funny, and I even laughed at myself.

But some was pretty ignorant and stupid. Thought "enough, not worth it, leaving, nobody wants my contribution".

But the following morning after some sleep, I thought - it wasn't so bad, got told off but I deserved it, that was a nice post from ***** (often somebody who can be pretty horrible at times).

But I enjoy most of your posts, Jules. And I would not like to see you leave.

But he loves you PH....!!!

It wasn't just about today mildred, it seems to be constant!!! Everytime I come on here theres always something nasty going on.......As for ww3 that will come in time on here!!

A few mild cross words between 2 different people. I get more of a kick out of Nescafe. :-)
It was over, done & dusted before jules posted.

To those who missed it it sounds as if WW3 erupted...and it didn't.

I think that when you are ill or just feeling blue ( and we all are that at some time) this site can be the 'place you go' to feel better, and when what is here is niggly and bitchy it's dis-heartening, even if it's not at you, and even though it is not as bad as it sometimes used to be.

If you're feeling upbeat it doesn't affect you, if you're already feeling down it is amplified...if you get what I mean, and then you either think it or say it..."I don't want to be here if/when it's like this" lol.

Not you Suzanne.....So whos being bitchy now then Mildred Honkinbottom!!! You just can't leave it alone can you??? Thats why you have to keep adding a comment...You make me laugh....

Oh did I miss something? Every time I go on holiday I log in to see that something has happened.

joules, go on, ignore it as we all have to occasionally. I am sure you would miss at least some people on here. :-)

It's not just today that gets me, it's always something...Im not making a fuss like you seem to think I am...You are the one thats keeping on about me leaving and saying im fishing for attention!!!

I Was just going to say that weve got some funny banter threads going on at the moment that you may like to join into,but alas one has been RRD :-D

Rose, I've no problem people being upset...when there's something to be upset over.
What irks me in the 9 years I've been a member are the threats to leave, some I can understand, but others like the one today are truly over the top.

However the cross of words was just that, a cross of words, totally unworthy of throwing ones toys out of the pram...after it had all gone quiet I may add !

It was a bit like a Catherine wheel stuck which just wouldn't go round, fizzed a bit & died.

Making a fuss after is either in the hope of carrying the argument further or fishing for attention.

I don't think it's 'wrong' to be upset at the bitching if it makes your enjoyment of the site less..... some thrive on the nastiness ( so long as not directed at them ) because it adds a bit of spice... others don't like it, simple as that.

I certainly am not needy, I'm just voicing my opinion!!!! And yes I will be leaving so it is not a threat....As for fishing for people to ask me to stay, get real, you obviously don't know me.....and as for a minor crossing of words it's always like that on here, if it's not one it's another........I also have self respect thats why i'm leaving and leaving all the bitching and nastiness to everyone else.....
