It's not just today that gets me, it's always something...Im not making a fuss like you seem to think I am...You are the one thats keeping on about me leaving and saying im fishing for attention!!!

I think that when you are ill or just feeling blue ( and we all are that at some time) this site can be the 'place you go' to feel better, and when what is here is niggly and bitchy it's dis-heartening, even if it's not at you, and even though it is not as bad as it sometimes used to be.

If you're feeling upbeat it doesn't affect you, if you're already feeling down it is amplified...if you get what I mean, and then you either think it or say it..."I don't want to be here if/when it's like this" lol.

To those who missed it it sounds as if WW3 erupted...and it didn't.

It wasn't just about today mildred, it seems to be constant!!! Everytime I come on here theres always something nasty going on.......As for ww3 that will come in time on here!!

Many times recently I have gone to bed really quite upset. Because someone has picked up the wrong meaning of what I wrote, or looked for fault in my post. Some criticism was very clever and funny, and I even laughed at myself.

But some was pretty ignorant and stupid. Thought "enough, not worth it, leaving, nobody wants my contribution".

But the following morning after some sleep, I thought - it wasn't so bad, got told off but I deserved it, that was a nice post from ***** (often somebody who can be pretty horrible at times).

But I enjoy most of your posts, Jules. And I would not like to see you leave.

As far as I'm concerned Jules its never been any different on here. In fact its far better argument wise than it was years ago.

You do actually have a choice to either ignore the arguments & post on other threads, failing that if it upsets you that much then switch off.

Carrying on the threads by moaning about them on new ones wont change a thing.

Ive had a crap week , horrible in fact.. I can tell you this mild tit for tat skirmish on here is no different to two year sixes having words. I've seen & heard far worse than tonight's kerfuffle. Its left me feeling...nothing :-)

it bears no significance to whats happened in my real life, but if it did, I would turn off.

I have to say that I can't imagine going to bed upset about anything anyone has said to me on here. I would like to think that the only people who really matter to me on here are the people who are true friends.

Jules - the boards have been relatively quiet over the last few months and the little upset isn't worth worrying about. However if you feel uncomfortable and you're not enjoying the boards anymore then perhaps it's time to go. Best wishes to you.

What has appeared on here during the last week has been mild compared to a few years ago as Mildred said.

The two times I have left I didn't announce it just buggered off because of family illness which was far more important than GR. The friends on here I kept in touch with elsewhere.

Besides I didn't want to give anyone an excuse to put the flags out :-P :-P :-P :-P
