Unfortunately it is because some assume "it couldn't be him/her, they aren't like that" is why they get away with it for so long.

Often, it those those we cannot imagine, are those who do it, they are good at portraying themselves as decent people, who will often choose to work with children, or the vulnerable, these people live in a world where everything is planned, they work at it and are meticulous in covering there tracks.

We have to re-educate our thinking, sad fact, but always be aware, and although we think we know someone wouldn't do it, we really only know what we wouldn't do.

The sad thing for those abused by JS is that they
will never be able to confront him.

Ann, from what I read Rolf Harris is not being accused of an offence against a minor.

Just goes to show, what goes around comes around.

Those who took advantage knew what they were doing was wrong.
It may have been the 'norm' in their circles, but the perpetrators were adults. Their victims were children.
Basic morals should have told them to keep away.

The children have grown up and found their voices.

My father worked with a man who had been a professionasl wrestler and he knew and wrestled JS - I think he was professional and did tag with his brother. Although do not know how many matches he took part in.

I've yet to hear of anyone who actually liked him - even before this news broke I always found him totally repulsive

The Man was a perverted predator . It makes me sick to my stomach how he could have been allowed to do what he did .his money bought silence .when you look at pictures of him .makes your skin crawl .he should have been brought to justice a long time ago .When DNA evidence could have caught the scum & let him rot in prison .not allow him to have access to his victims & live a good life .with his fancy homes & cars sickening Barbra
