I think good may wll have come out of this awful business in that apparently there are now more people reporting sex abuse than ever before - I think it has made victims feel empowered

All children, and adults come to that, should be cared for and loved Hazel, very sad that isn't always the case.

I hope that something good comes out of the Jimmy Savile saga, if only people would say if they know abuse is going on, that would be a start. but I do realise that it isn't always easy to say something, or when you do, you're not believed :-(

(sad face) just wish i had been cared for loved and protected when i was a child, instead of being sent to duncroft, which was the catalyst for savile to be exposed.i hope any children, or adults , who are experiencing trauma right now, will be helped and listened to, so this expose won't have been in vain.what's happening to british society,

..A television actor has been charged with sex attacks on a 14-year-old boy at a theatre and a school.

The performer, who police have not publicly named because of his age, is accused of orally raping and sexually touching the teenager at a London theatre in July 2010.

He is also accused of two counts of sexual assault in September 2010, and assault by beating in April 2011, all at a school in London.

All of the allegations relate to one victim.

The actor answered police bail on Tuesday and was charged with five offences.

He is due to appear in court in November to face one count of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one of assault by beating.

Janet - when I said "everyone is at it" I was alluding to the fact that sex abuse seems to be turning up everywhere

And now J Savile is accused of necrophilia (Paul Gambaccini in Mirror today).

All these things were taboos when I was young. Too horrible for us even to contemplate. Can't think of anything much more depraved than violating children and messing with dead people. But perhaps Savile got turned on by even more depraved behaviour. :-( :-(

They must get all the men (and at least one woman) involved in his inner sanctum. Many of them came from all over the world to his funeral last year and many will be on film on that day. He was feted and respectable last year with most of the public.

"can't see anything else on the web - everyone is at it "

I have never liked Robert Kazinsky, though I do appreciate he is an actor playing a part. Just something about him that made my flesh crawl.
I didn't know he was back in the programme as I havn't watched it for a year or two.

The incident echoes the controversy that saw Leslie Grantham written out of the BBC1 soap. Grantham had made his comeback as Dirty Den when it emerged that he took part in webcam sex sessions from his dressing room in Elstree Studios.
To prevent disruption to the soap's forthcoming storylines, newcomer Kazinsky will continue filming until February, when he will be out of the show for two months.
The actor, an unknown before joining EastEnders, is said to be upset and apologetic over the incident and has said he is sorry for bringing the show into disrepute.
An EastEnders spokesman said: "Following the story in the Sunday People on January 7 2007, EastEnders executive producer Diederick Santer has taken the decision to suspend Robert Kazinsky from early February for a period of two months.
"In addition, Robert Kazinsky would like to apologise for any offence caused to EastEnders' viewers and for bringing the show into disrepute."

Yes Sharron, but it will make sure he is never, ever referred to as Sir Jimmy Savile again.

That is shocking Joy, is it a current Eastenders star, do you know?
