Been thinking of George and family, and Kims son.
Good to hear he has opened his eyes, even for a short time.
May he improve with each day.
Love to them all

Still thinking of George and hope he continues to come out of the induced coma with success.

I am sure that anger is a normal feeling when somebody close is so ill and your son, being young doesn't know any other way to express his feelings when he is with you. Maybe he feels he would be embarrassed to cry so is angry instead, when his friends are crying it gives him 'permission' to cry himself. They all sound like really good friends and very supportive of George.

Good to have an update with slightly better news, I hope George can continue to fight back and that knowing his family and friends are round him will help him be strong. Your son sounds a real good pal to George and his family and he is obviously very moved by the situation, and his emotions are all over the place. So long as his anger doesn't get him into any bother anywhere it's best let out so at home is probably the safest place to do it.

I hope there will be even better news as the days go by.

Update

They took George out of induced coma yesterday and it's been a hell of a waiting game....so far he's had no more seizures and he opened his eyes today yeyyyyyyyyyyyy not for long but hey what he's been through think I'd want to go to back to sleep for a rest lol

No way is he out off the woods yet but we are all on positive, positive, positive

I was getting so worried about son tho, as all he seems is angry when he's home, but George's mum has told me that when he's with them and especially with George's sister they are all crying, I just needed to know he is managing to release his emotions and I do now :)

Will update again when more news

Thank you everyone for your positive thoughts and support

He sounds a strong lad so I hope that and the support he is being given - and he quite probably knows they are with him - will help him to survive this.

I think it is disgusting that his mother is being charged £55 to stay and I hope, after this is over, that somebody will expose this 'racket' to the local papers.

Keep fighting George. <3

Positive thoughts for George.
It's great that your son and his friends are able to visit and support him and his family at this difficult time.
Hold on to hope......

I hope this young man can pull through, sounds as tho he is strong and determined and it must have been good for his sister to see his reaction to her touch. It's awful that his Mum has to pay for her stay by his side, but hope she can get some help from somewhere, maybe there is a charity that helps out or DSS will help.

There is no change today, except George keeps trying to bring himself out of the induced coma!! but he still has lung and kidney failure so they have to keep giving him more sedatives :(

Apparently the Trachi went ok and while they were doing it his sister was lightly scratching his arm and he raised it higher, obviously for more scratching lol

Son took George's birthday card up today and stayed all day with him and a lot of his other friends took the day off work to go up also.

George's mum is coping at the moment (how I don't know) she is staying up there in the hospital every night but the hospital are charging her £55 per night to stay!! she's his mum fgs and this could go on for sometime!!

I so thank you all for your positive thoughts for George and your lovely comments re my son

Thinking of George on his birthday. I hope that the Trachy. goes well and makes things easier for him.

Thinking too of your son. It must be a terrible shock for him to see his best friend so ill.

Hoping that George and his family are encouraged by the 19th birthday card that you son has organised for him.
