...........................

I got home this afternoon to the news that Julie Frater passed away yesterday.

I first got to know Julie on GC, as it was then, as did many of us

She fought a long hard battle against cancer and faced it with tremendous courage and with her own particular brand of humour.

She will be sadly missed by her many internet friends.

Condolences to Brian, Tia and Amori.

Thank you Gwynne. I suspect I must have known Julie but there were several. However the name rings a bell and I am sorry to hear the news. What a really terrible disease it is. I know progress has been made but not enough.

Thinking of her family.

Oh dear I am so sorry to hear that,

My sincere condolences to Julie's family. Julie was one of the first people to help me with my research on here. She'll be very much missed for her kindness, her humour and her courage.

Ooh, Julie with the support thread on here very recently? that Julie? I am so very sorry, I had not recognised the name Frater. Oh, it is no more sad to lose one GR friend than another but I had a lot of contact with Julie who lost her urns by PM, she was very supportive when my daughter had her cancer last year. So I must say again how sorry I am. She was always so positive and up beat. God Bless Julie and Rest in peace.

How desperately sad and what a terrible loss. I met Julie at a Meet and we supported her on a GR thread about her battle with cancer. I am so very sorry and send my deepest condolences to her family. Farewell, dear Julie. Love BC XX

I could not believe when " Joy Kentish Maid" gave her GR name. She was both couragous and brave.
No more suffering, at peace at last.
God look after her family.
So, sorry

It is only just over a week since she last posted about being rushed blues and twos to have a stent fitted.
