Cooper Report 9 Nov 2012 21:16

It's not the same Stray when they only want electricals :-( I liked getting toys and games for them when they were younger. Our eldest is working on a cruise liner and will be away for Christmas so there will be less under the tree this year. She has taken hers with her :-D

My Nieces and Nephews only want cash so my Christmas shopping list will be very small but no cheaper :-D

I see that Rosemary Shrager, the chef from "Ladette to Lady", is in the line up. Be interesting to see how she keeps the likes of Helen Flanagan and other young ladies in line. She really doesn't seem the type to take part, but I bet she'll be feisty!

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 10 Nov 2012 18:46

:-0 ill be shocked if rosemary goes in,

haha cooper he wants the toys too, lol,

Island

Island Report 10 Nov 2012 18:46

Lynda, I was just going to ask if R S is in it - must have a book coming out LOL

The character casting is pretty much the same as ever, just different 'actors'.

I thought Rosemary was fab in Ladette, wonderfully old trout :-D I hope she delivers :-D

Fabrice Muamba has apparently pulled out at 11th hour. He had cold feet and decided he was not enough of a celebrity.

Well, I would like any of these non-entities to walk out in front of 20,000 fans (like Fabrice did on Saturday) and be cheered to the rafters. I would say that Fabrice is an A-list celebrity at the moment. ;-)

jax Report 11 Nov 2012 11:53

I cant see any mention of him going into the jungle anyway, or is this another one of your wind ups John?......how sad had to google him to find out who he was, to find out he was an ex Arsenal player and I've been an Arsenal supporter all my life ...Ooops

Edit- let you off...... Found a mention about him now pulling out..

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 11 Nov 2012 11:58

hes the gentleman who calapsed on the pitch, and i agree with him he isnt a celebrity,

he was offered n turned it down, but not at the 11th hour i beleive which im glad he did, if nothing else for hs health

Jax and Stray

I honestry think if you put that list of celebs up including Fabrice Muamba he would come top of list by a long way at the moment. He would be the only A-list. I know he is famous for having died for over an hour, but that is the nature of celebrity now.

You have to be ancient like me to remember people like Colin Baker and Eric Bristow. I suppose Haye is well enough known, but those 3 names are almost all I recognise. And even they would not make B-list.

I looked at a picture on the Marr programme this morning of a largish female ex-politician aged 57 from Merseyside swimming with a large ex-Dr Who from the 1950's in tow, and I think I will watch the other side.

Out of all that have been mentioned, the only ones I had not heard of are the Pussycat dolls woman and the Made in Chelsea bloke...and of course the footballer.

I am no where near as old as you John but I certainly remember Eric and Colin

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 11 Nov 2012 13:03

i know them all but the politition, and im only in my early 30's

if you dont want to watch it you dont have to,

but i put this thread up coz myself and a few other DO enjoy watching it,

i wouldnt say he was an A list celebrty far from it,

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 11 Nov 2012 13:06

Jax :-D :-D

But you wouldn't want to swim with Eric (Pickles?) and Colin (O'Scopie?) ;-)

Pussycat Doll? Wow, I might just watch :-D
