Island Report 11 Nov 2012 13:46

Have you taken the wrong tablets John? :-S :-S :-S

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 11 Nov 2012 14:13

No, Island. But I have not watched it for many series now. It seems to be people who have not yet become celebrities or have long stopped being celebrities. Don't think the Becks would invite any of them to one of their parties.

To give £40,000 plus to Nadine Dorries (who is a stroppy lady with views somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan) is obscene. So I wish the programme an early demise. And I promise I won't post and spoil a thread just because I am an old killjoy :-D :-D

ButtercupFields Report 11 Nov 2012 14:22

I shall be watching, Stray, with the usual dodging behind sofa when they start eating grubs and crocodiles nuts and stuff. I don't know half of the celebrities but it doesn't matter we will enjoy their discomfort! :-D <3

Jane

Jane Report 11 Nov 2012 14:38

Hi Stray,
I love to see them all go in to the Jungle .Was it last year that lady comedian (can't think of her name took her teeth out before she jumped from the plane and was then reunited with them once she landed lol

Island

Island Report 11 Nov 2012 14:41

Killjoy wasn't the word I had in mind John.

I'll be watching too Stray and BC. I haven't heard of half of them either, especially if the are footballers or from TOWIE.
I love a bit of schoolboy humour of an autumn evening, sets me up nicely for Christmas :-D

ButtercupFields

ButtercupFields Report 12 Nov 2012 08:48

Just for Marilyn, cos she is on ANOTHER world cruise :-D We had the obligatory Screamer (the girl from Corrie), a lad from Chelsea who cried on the first night (exhaustion...bless).. a mouthy Pussycat Doll, a grossly overweight actor...does anyone remember him from a 70 series The Brothers? he was gorgeous. A mumsy Linda Robson, a strangely subdued politician...oops my coffeee is ready can someone continue?

<3 :-D

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 12 Nov 2012 09:23

The subdued politician Nadine Dorries took charge of the "crossing the lake" in a rowing boat which is quite a simple task but she failed and the boat sank everyone had to swim for it,

Telling everyone what to do whilst facing them and not looking at the route ahead

Man management skills nil pwar

Organisation skills nil pwar

Leadership skills nil pwar

Sense of direction nil pwar

Basic common sense nil pwar

I think at the next election all candidates should have to be put through tasks such as you do when your company send you on one of those out wood bounds courses on man management team building and leadership to see how they perform as part of their campaign process

Obviously these would be broadcast to give the electorate a true picture of their abilities before we elect them
