Thanks all,

Just seen it on a Sky News banner, probably enough deaths now to warrant a mention!

I quite often listen to the BBC World Service during the night if I can't sleep. Amazing what they report on there that we never hear about on our news channels.
Pleased to see that your son is safe Sue.

Probably best to look on the internet for world news as it's updated quite often during the day.

Thanks Bro :-D

This happened before during the US floods in 2006 (?), Mayan villages were being destroyed by mud slides, many villagers died and not one word on the news here until 4 days later and that was a 20 second slot!

I appreciate that I have a special interest but news isn't all about the USA or Jimmy Savile :-(

7.4 magnitude earthquake in Guatemala.

I only found out by being told on FB that my son and everyone else is OK.

I suppose they couldn't possibly drop some of the wall to wall coverage of the US election :-| :-|
