The John Lewis Christmas advert this year?

I like it but not sure it is as good as last year.

Shot in New Zealand in July. They shipped a phone box and pillar box over there so it looked like Britain.

Reported to have cost a few million to film.

Beautiful photography as usual. They have a good agency working for them.

Yes, was intrigued to read it was filmed in NZ. Apparently they found the old cottage that was built by a Scotsman, and helped the snow a bit.

Must be hard to live up to their adverts year after year

Morning Sue.

John Lewis is a corporation umbrella for quite a few stores. Big department stores.

It was set up as a co-operative by John Spedan Lewis, there are no board of directors as such. Everyone who works there is a Partner.

When bonus time comes around, everyone get the same percentage, and to show openess the bonus is printed in the newspapers.

Not a bad place to work it seems.
