for Derbyshire on the news today.
British Celenese, lataly called Courtaulds, and employing 20,000 personel at it's hight, has had to lay off once again, and is now down to about 70 staff now. They put this down to the cost of POWER in this country. So it is not just us householders who are suffering from these highly inflated costs.
But the good news is that, Stilton cheese is being made in Derbyshire again. After the factory making this closed down, at Hartington, some former employees got together and set up their own business doing what they had done all of their working lives.
That is good to hear.
