Today I was starting to write out my christmas cards. I have a list of course, and I also have sticky labels printed for me on the pc by my OH (his contribution towards the cards.) So I had done a few, then had one with no sticky label so copied the address from my address book. Went on to the next card, wrote the card, then addressed the label, by hand, copying it from the sticky label! :-D :-S

Wait until you're a cup and saucer missing - then find it in the washbasin in the bathroom - upstairs :-S

Or panic stations because you can't find a sheet of paper with important dates and times on. Turn out the whole bureau and folders and it is on the coffee table where you were sitting to deal with it :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-D

I stood at the till of my Waitrose a few minutes ago,. hand outstretched for the change, when the nice young man pointed out that I had given him the exact amount (including pennies from the end of my purse). 'a lot of people do that' he said kindly. :-S

when my car was a few months old I parked in a city centre multi-story, looked at the wall and saw "5" and with 5 in my head off I went shopping. On my return went to Floor 5, no car :-(

now having had three cars stolen I thought - here we go again. So I rang the police who said see if there was CCTV on the 5th floor - eventually found an attendant on the ground floor and whilst asking him about the CCTV I noticed there was a 5 on the wall - what's that 5 for - 5mph he said - doh!!!! Is that on every floor then? Yes it is. Am I the first person to make this mistake - No, people do it all the time!!! So he went looking for my car and found it on the third floor. Had to ring the police back and explain.

I always forget where I parked the car at the supermarket and feel an idiot weaving a full trolley round and round.

Read something the other day you might find funny ........

Woman coming out of the supermarket thought her car had been stolen and very nervously rang her husband to tell him.

He had dropped her off earlier :-D :-D :-D

Ha ha - funny :-D

A few days after I moved to the house I live in now, I went to the supermarket and then drove back to my previous house.

When asked for my phone number the other day so that someone could ring me back with some information, I gave them the number of my OLD house !('we've been moved for over a year!) I had to re-ring and own up!!!!

No, I made a quick getaway - she'd caused so many problems during the sale and had almost sent me in the direction of Beachy Head, so I didn't ever want to set eyes on her again. Unfortunately, I later had to because we continued to be invited to our previous neighbours' parties and she was there, but she got the message from me each time we met :-| heh heh!)

It made a good story though when 'im indoors made a speech on my 50th birthday 3 months after we'd moved into our new house (about me driving back to my old house) :-D

haha

I figure that as long as I'm aware I'm doing daft things I'm OK.

The day I believe everything is hunkey-dorey is the day I'm in trouble!

:-D

Anyone else puts the keys in the fridge??

I agree Scozz - as long as we continue to be aware that we are doing daft things, we're OK (well that's what I tells meself!)

Linda - milk in the tumble dryer? Hope there was no washing in there and that you didn't turn it on.

Now, what did I come up to me little attic room for? (apart from checking me messages?) :-S :-S
