A few days ago, I came out of the supermarket with my empty basket and got into the passenger side of the car. I struggled to fasten my seat belt which made me realise I had the basket on my knee. OH never questioned why I had the basket. So maybe we are both going crazy. No hope for us.

my sister went into a department store in Hereford to buy some tape for doing some sewing - she asked on the counter where she thought it would be and the assistant said, it's downstairs, they sell it by the metre, to which my sister replied "and what meter would that be, the gas meter, the water meter or the electric meter" in a very sarcastic voice, to which the assistant replied, by the METRE, with a scathing look, the measurement - they sell it in metres!!

You know those birthday cards that list everything that happened the year you were born?

Well,on my fortieth birthday in 1993 I had a You Are 40 keyring from OH's mother and a card for 1952.

AnninGlos Report 15 Nov 2012 13:01

Well I wouldn't get that far, no room for trainers in my fridge, although I have been known to get as far as opening the fridge door with a dirty plate in my hand ...... headed for the dishwasher of course.

I ring My lovely mum up every night about 10 pm she 90 at Christmas and very alert, but sleeps alot in the day, anyway when I phoned tonight she said thank goodness you rang I thought that something was wrong, but then she went on to tell me that she had fallen asleep and when she woke up she thought it was the morning and that she had gone to sleep in her chair and been there all night, so she went out to the kitchen and made her breakfast and ate it then releized it was only the evening, I'm still laughing

I can't recall how many times I've dialled someone on my Sky remote in mistake for the phone and wondered what happened to the programme I was watching!!!

Sharron Report 15 Nov 2012 23:40

I thought I had had a heart attack at the swimming pool.

Trying very hard to breathe in only when my face was turned one way as I thought I remembered being told at school, I found I could only do it three times.

My poor little brain, what with having to keep the head facing different ways and breathing in only one way,not to mention keeping the feet going up and down and the arms going round and round, it couldn't be expected to do breathing out as well!

Susan's comment remided me of a time years ago....
Our whole family overslept, and were late for work/school
My mum woke up late in the morning to find that the night before, she had put the alarm clock on the doorstep and the empty milk bottles on the bedside table!

And Ann.. I put the Sky remote in my bag and took it to work thinking it was my phone.
Embarrassed doesn't cover it when.... in front of everyone at work, I tried to call home f

I was making lunch today and opened two cans of soup. I suddenly remebered I was going to do peaches in jelly for after tea, so got sidetracked .
Yes, you guessed it - got the tins mixed up.

Peach and lentil soup , anyone?

All of you are hilarious :-D

Now, how many times a week do you have this conversation with your beloved:

I told you that . . . . . no, you didn't . . . . . I DID!!!

lol Wend

I got fed up being told I hadn't told OH something or other, so I started writing notes and leaving them on his computer keyboard.

He often says he never got the notes, so I must have forgotten to write them! <3
