I need to buy a new cooker because one of our number sneezed whilst reversing his wheelchair and totally mullered the door. It was time anyway.

Any recommendations or warnings of not to go near.

I already won't look at Beko,having had the door fall off a new one,before we had the wheelchair.

It must be all electric and I would like ceramic hob and two ovens withat least one being a fan oven.

I have a Hotpoint Creda. All electric. Double oven with top oven also being a grill feature. Ceramic hob. Self clean oven and facilities for slow cooking, timing etc. Love it

I have looked at them and probably would get myself into trouble to buy one but fortunately it is too wide.

We've got a Neff fan (circotherm) oven, and been very happy with it for the past 7 years, if it packed up tomorrow we'd buy another one, hope this helps.

It looks like Neff are all built in but thank you for that.

Try a Desert Cooker but mind you don,t singe your Eyebrows. :-D

Sharron, I too can recommend Creda cookers - have used no other brand in past 30 odd years

This one is a Tricity Brndix which I think may be a Creda. I can't fault it's performance but it is green (that dates it) and the doors are glass. The glass always has a smear and the knobs always have a bit of unspeakable stuff stuck around them which is hard to move. There are all sorts of little places where muck gets in and doesn't want to come out easily.

I want one that is better designed than that.

The freestanding Credas were brilliant for cleaning - the builtin I find not so good - at least when I was responsible for cleaning it!

Yes , but I saw this one before I bought it.

Sharron, A large can filled with sand,holes knocked in sides, soaked in petrol,light it, cooks most things.as I said just mind your eyebrows. :-D :-D :-D
