John it's not just happening before Christmas..it happens 365 days of the year.

In the shops I go in in a small town the donation tins are chained down to a metal ring under the counter.

On a tv programme today (morning) 3 lads took the HELP FOR HEROES tin from a cafe and they actually dropped it cos they were getting chased by the customers.
All the 3 lads were 12 years old and the police got together a meeting with the cafe owner the 3 lads and their parents to try and put them on the straight and narrow.

So as you can see this is happening alll the time.

This ties in with something I wrote about this morning, Ann.

I mentioned metal theft, a Fiesta backing into a Cardiff Co-op to steal cigarettes and stealing credit card details on the internet and also at cash points.

I think it is scum trying to get cash for Christmas. Justifying their actions by7 saying that their children would suffer if they did not steal. It is all petty amounts stolen by petty scum who have no respect for anybody or anything. :-( :-(

Two thousand pounds stolen from the RBL Hq in Gloucester overnight Weds/Thurs. All in coins plus some cheques, part of the poppy collection.

What absolute scum. I hope they catch them fingers crossed CCTV helps.
