One of the census that has been found for you, if correct, gives Sarah Joyce as Thomas Rilley's mother in law, with the implication that she was Maria's mother.

The 1864 marriage certificate will give the names of both Maria's and Thomas' father, if known.

Certificates can be ordered from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ and will cost you £9.25 inc postage and packing.

Armed with the additional details, you have a slightly better chance of tracing the families in Ireland

you have the parents listed. where did you get that information from.?

As you are just getting to grips with the computer, its worth mentioning that using capital letters is considered the equivalent to shouting. Some people find text in capitals difficult to read.

Of course, others find capitals easier to see what they are typing! ;-)
