Since house deeds 'belong' to the house and weren't passed to you when you purchased it, its more than likely that they've been lost/destroyed. :-0 |

Anyone know how I can find the original deeds for my victorian end terraced workers cottage? I have all the docs available. There are some docs showing transfer following the original owners death in late 1890's but no real docs till 1975 when they seem to have rewritten the deeds following a cancelled demolition order!!!! Any advice would be helpful. thanks |
