I have been fundraising for our local Hospice and yesterday I had my hair shaved off in our Hospice shop. Great fun, although when I first looked in a mirror I burst out laughing. I went shopping afterwards wearing my halo and quite a few people grinned at me, so I grinned back. No hat or scarf unless the weather is really cold, or the sun extremely hot.

Well done you :-)

I hope your fundraising is very successful

You look wonderful in your halo...please please slap some cream on your head even if it's not overly hot.. the sun can be merciless on parts it's never reached before :-(

Are you sporting your wings as well?

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

LollywithSprinklez, I cant wear my wings when driving as the seat belt ruins them, and if there is a wind blowing I might really fly! But I do enjoy dressing up. There was no sun today, it was raining all day and I stayed indoors.

The money is still coming in, so I cant say yet how much I have raised.

Huia, loved the pics on fb I think you are very brave. There's me getting upset cos my hair is thinnning so badly. Will you wait till your hair has grown a little before you go to see your hubby or doesn't he recognise you anyway, I expect he would know your voice of course.

Hope you get lots of money in - well done for being such a sport (and an angel)

Liz, I will visit my hubby as usual. I dont know if he will be upset, but often he does not look at me anyway. I will probably have it shaved to keep it short for a month or so. I want to show off my hairless look!!
