Am I the only person who thinks it is too early to start playing "Christmas Songs" on the radio?

No Liz 47, It 's far too early.

I have thought about presents, food, shopping, preparation etc. But music on the radio, far too early

Surely it is not Advent until 1st. December. By Christmas Day, everyone will be fed up with it.

Agree with you Liz

Christmassy adverts on tv too all much too early.

The older I get the quicker it seems to come round. Now we dont have any little ones to get excited with it all seems a bit of a chore, humbug!

I saw an advert this week for an event being held at a small stately home near to where I live. One of the features was a pianist playing carols in the Great Hall. As I never seem to know what the date is, I glanced at the newspaper searching for reassurance that it was a typing error. Nope.

.........I love listening to carols but not in the middle of November.-jl

Way too early - as is everything to do with Christmas now... :-(

One of the reasons I just don't like it any more.

We are just beginning to plan for Christmas. No decorations up until December though.

Dtr saw some snowman decorations the front window of a house down the road. If they want to start early and it's what they enjoy - each to their own.

But our son loves Christmas music all year round. Heck we were playing it in the summer. Got a funny look from someone who popped in but who cares? I don't tell them what they can play in their house.
