General Chat

I doubt if I will ever give up mine either Huia. I still find people I like to chat to. Still enjoy many of the threads, like the 'debates'. I find that if somebody irritates me, I can ignore them, I don't let it spoil my enjoyement.
I do though find the constant knocking of the board, the 'not like it used to be' posts annoying. It is us that make the boards, us that write the posts, us that irritate other people etc etc so it is us that can make the boards as we want them to be.

I doubt if I will ever give up my membership. I love chatting to people all over the world, (well UK, Canada, Australia and possibly one or two other places), and reading their chatter. Being at home on my own, apart from the cat who spends most of her time sleeping the boards are my lifeline to sanity - or insanity perhaps.

Yes Suzanne I am reluctant to post when I know a certain person will have some remark to make to try and make himself look clever .

Site seems to be dying on its feet. As you say, silly rr's spoil threads. Some groups think they own chat, and discourage opinions different to theirs.

Have just looked at the Suggestions Board. No post at all on Friday or Saturday. So hardly surprising not much traffic on Chat either and a frequent question now is "have I killed this thread?"
