Thought it was great, gentle humour, a bit of pathos, good actors and lovely scenery.

Yes, I really enjoyed it. Good to have a drama that doesn't involve cops and robbers. Looking forward to next week.

I just finished watching the recording and loved it, will enjoy keeping up with each week.

Strange to see Sarah Lancashire on the screen again so soon afther The Paradise and also odd to see Anne Reid writing letters again lol, I used to love Ladies of Letters with Maureen Lipman as well. Anne Reid is 77, she looks good for her age don't you think?

Morning All, Yes we watched it, and after reading about it was really looking forward to it. And, we were not disappointed. not just the main story, but the developing sub stories.
Looking forward to the next episode.

I enjoyed it too-looking forward to seeing how the respective families react !!

I agree about Anne Reid looking good

Nice to see some "mature" actors

AnninGlos Report 21 Nov 2012 09:32

don't you think anne Reid always has a naughty twinkle in her eyes? I use to like her in Dinner ladies, always with the sharp one liners. And, yes she does look good for 77.
