They are continuing to keep Dizzi sedated for the next couple of days whilst they treat her intravenously with the strong drugs for the pneumonia. These drugs are quite unpleasant whilst going in, also intravenous drugs & jerky movements do not mix.

If I hear anything different over the weekend I will let you know, but do still keep posting.

Reading these will keep her occupied for some time once she is allowed her ipad , thus keeping her from trying to do too much too soon.
She is sure going to be hopping mad when they do wake her.
I think all who have met her now have visions of Dizzi racing round the ward with a drip stand attached to her tripod walker, pushing it with one hand whilst brandishing her walking stick in the other.

Every sympathy with Dizzi on this as it happened to me just over a year ago -- pneumonia, 10 days in intensive care, had to be sedated because otherwise you try and pull the stents and things off, and the sedatives gave me the most awful nightmares - so if this happens to you Dizzi it takes a bit of working out what was real - but it does pass - when my (Australian) sister heard l was asking for moisturisers and crossword books she said knew I must be all right!

Our little ray of sunshine is having a lovely snoozy.............whilst the drugs do, just what they gotta do.

can i ask why Dizzi needed three blood transfusions? never heard of that procedure before?one is usually enough even for the worst anaemia,,
again i wish Dizzi to get well soon.
