You can tell we are pretty bored!!! Why? We have just practically cleaned the house right through between us.

It's raining so no golf, no gardening and not worth going out anywhere. Still every cloud etc and we now have a clean house :-D

Anyone got any sun to send us.

Yep!! Usually only gets a thorough going over when we expect visitors. :-D

Ann and OH - please can you come and clean ours please :-D.

It may take you a while - we've had our lovely builder in over the last 10 days, rendering and plastering hall and landing, and fitting a new staircase. Also just had a new dining table and chairs delivered. We still have the old ones, plus the spare bedrooms full of books and book cases which usually live on the landing. Everything very dusty, floors mucky, plus this foul weather means we have all trodden mud in. The dog looks (and smells) like a swamp thing and I have a HUGE pile of ironing :-D

....sigh......wish my house was all tidy and ship shape......jl

Actually got washing drying on the rads so not that tidy, but he will do the ironing when dry :-) :-) :-)

sorry Sheila wet dog smell you are welcome. Will send him over when the dog dries out :-D

Got plenty of rain to send but not one bit of sunshine I'm afraid ! :-(

I think Sheila will need a TEAM of cleaners! :-D The wet dog smell is quite nice really it's just the dusting, ironing and mud cleaning...*shudders delicately :-D

Well we could get together a house cleaning team I suppose. Out with the wellies, buckets, scrubbing brushes etc. But it sounds as if we need a few strong men to shift the furniture too.

Oooh I'll have some of the strong men please!!! OH has sciatica so he's as useful as a chocolate teapot ;-). I am anticipating the clean up will take a while, we've got no visitors due so am not too bothered. Then we'll have to start on the painting..... :-D

My Hubby (toy boy, really, he's 5 years younger than me) has turned into a DIY fanatic since he retired a year ago. Great, you might think, but living with concrete footprints, sawdust, tools left everywhere and lots of mucky workclothes to wash is not always great!


Still, it will be nice when it's finished.........

Sheila, can't have all the strong men to yourself though. Oh but isn't that the signal for unexpected visitors to turn up?

Well I am bored Ann.....but that is a bit drastic methinks :-D

I have just got a new shredder Ann so you can make use of that when you have finished the ironing :-D :-D :-D I'm having great fun with it but it has shut down at the moment, I think it was getting a bit overheated :-D

Actually it was needed so it was probably good to get a push into doing it and I can feel all virtuous now and play with my card making. Well that is when I have wrapped a few more Christmas presents *sigh.
