I finished my Halloween cushion- backed it with spiders web fabric and trimmed with black lace - very nice!! Still beavering away at my Xmas heart design - probably not going to be this xmas..... and of course I planted about 250 tulips at the same time....multitasking !!

Managed to strip back my old treadle machine base and put a new wooden top on, so now looks very french & chi chi - I now have a lovely work table so got no excuse to do nothing!!

Sorry I missed your avatar I have been busy today locating the owner of 2 stray dogs that adopted me in the park this morning - all safe home now but I was really cross - NO MICROCHIP OR TAG ON COLLARS it gets me so mad GRRRRR.... owner had a lovely pink car and fashionable clothes but couldn't be a''d to make her dogs safe.

AND I had to wash my kitchen floor afterwards deep joy...only the 3rd time this week!

All smiley now, off to do some stitching.......

Think a glass of wino is required- wishing you many more happy birthdays Island
