George it´s nice to have them but they are very strange as Mum has never been religious but then she was only 15/16 when they were written.
I think my 2 Uncles will be over the moon to read them, she obviously adored them.

I have just found a whole batch of her poetry. typed I think on the back of MOD papers or who ever wanted to know about unexploded bombs in those days !

Father bless my mother
born herself a maid
May my love for ever
never ever fade

Father bless her always
for she is kind and good
Father bless my mother
guard her through womanhood

May I grow up like her
tend her all all her days
For she is true and gentle
and pure in all her ways

Father bless my father
for he is kind and strong
He is loving and so gentle
never let him go wrong

Bless him at work Father
and when he is at rest
Father bless him always
for he is one of the best

Father bless my dear one
bless him at school and play
Father bless my brother
be near him all the day

Guard him through his life
help him conquer strife
Help him in times of distress
