No this family is from DEVON......

I was just looking at all the Arthur's birth's for a possible child that could have been illegitimate !!

A long story ..:-(

GRMarilyn, My mothers maiden name was Arthur. I wonder if you have found out anything about her family. They came from Hersham, Sussex.

Better hide my head then as we have Suckling family in our tree from Essex. Early 1800,s onwards from what I have found so far
