On line with free postage, there's been some good deals around this year in Canada at least.
I only shop at this time of the year if I really have to, hate the crowds....no correction...I hate how some people are so thoughtless and don't care who they push to get there first.....
At least with on line the only pushing is me pushing the kids off the computers so I can use it.

Rose, I am having such a BIG love affair with Amazon this year, no schlepping around the shops, no tearing hair...Just one click... and...like magic...it arrives on your doorstep. <3 <3 <3

Tell the truth .............. I detest it full stop !

The people I buy for seem to have everything they want already. It just fills me with anxiety trying to rack my brains to think of ideas of what I can give them.

If i won the lotto i would hire a personal shopper to do it for me. :-D

Solved the problem years ago - don't do any!!!

Well, OH and I exchange gifts but we're cutting down this year and I've given him a very short list! I will buy his present(s) in town next week. Also bought a little something online for new grandchildren.

The other children in the family receive money, a long story but it's just easier to do this and it suits all involved.

I've had a 'reccie' and the only things I will get from the shops I have either already bought or know exactly what I'm going for so can do it quickly.

I am getting some things from Amazon also, BC, just makes it so easy :-D

I'm still looking for an egg cup lol, one shop had plain white, bit too boring, and none of the obvious shops had any at all...adding insult to injury the one place that had fancy shabby chic egg cosies didn't have the eggcups to go with them lol. ebay has lots but either very expensive or not what I'm after.

I might try next week's auction instead :-D

Kay, when I went down to my friend's recently overnight , she said would I like a boiled egg for breakfast but I'd have to hold it as she'd broken her last egg cup lol. So i thought I'd try and get her one, or a pair...she likes 'pretty' things so I thought something 'Cath Kidston' ish.

mostly get my pressies on line from QVC and then pick up things in shops if I happen to spot something I know someone would like

We have a Kath Kidstone shop just opened in Cardiff but to be honest I find the stuff terribly overpriced

done all mine now anyway - just have to wrap it - posting the cards tomorrow

My son in law's business here in Oz would go belly up if everyone shopped online :-( I can see the convenience of online shopping but it's killing a lot of small shops.
