Well You need to put a clean disc in the drive drawer.

Open your saved file

File:

Save as:

Select My computer:

Select D drive:

Then it will ask you to confirm:

Yes:

Your burning software should then operate without opening the programme.

Any probs, phone me, I'll pm you the house number again..lolol

can't find a clean disc - got some somewhere but have no idea where - I do have one that maybe I could overwrite?

The alternative is to get a flash drive. Put it into a USB socket and copy the files onto it.

AC, not all disc's can be overwritten, you'll need to check what type you have. Agree with KenSE - that's the best, and probably safest, option.

hmmm - what Sue is alluding to is that when I went on holidays in October my lovely daughter in law went to my house with her neice, who has a cleaning company, and they did a deep clean - I'm rather messy you know - well all these months on I'm still looking for things!!!

Kay????

Kay???? Report 6 Dec 2012 22:26

You can use a memory stick if you havnt got a free disc,,,,,,

can you email the the righted version on your PC direct?then the person can download to a clean disc of their own.... :-)

AnnCardiff Report 6 Dec 2012 22:29

Use drop box or google drive much easier than faffing around with CD-R.
