You're bringing back memories for me there George. My auntie lived in Maida Vale and I used to love walking around Regents Park and Little Venice when visiting. When I was little I used to think it was the real Venice! :-D

Good to see some good news on here :-D

It doesn't have to be earth shattering news to make you happy, sometimes it's just little things that bring a smile to your face :-D

Didn't do a lot Saturday but today have had a nice day meeting friends who don't live too far away but we love to see them. We met at a nice hotel restaurant for lunch after a pleasant journey to Ross on Wye :-)

I have to admit to having a fairly decent week end. Saturday agility training as was Sunday. On the way home Saturday we looked in at an RSPCA centre and saw lots of dogs and cats....Most with homes to go to....what spotless comfortable accommodation they had.....If I was a cat or dog I wouldn't want to leave there.

I wanted to take them all home with me :-D

had a great long weekend looking after our 2yr old granddaughter while her parents had a short belated honeymoon, they were away for 4days(could onlyy manage 4 days away from their very much wanted little girl)she was brilliant, went to bed without any trouble every night, never once wet her self(shes been toilet trained since the age of 2. nearly three months now)but we thought we would have toilet trouble because she was away from mum and dad.she woke me at 6am this morning .by nearly poking my eyes out with her finger and saying."nannie its time to get up,the suns out".. oh i love being a nanny :-D

Well done Joy & Stray on becoming 'Greats' :-D

I had my 3 grandchildren (2, 4 & 10) from 7pm until 10pm on Saturday (should have been longer, but the Hotel where SIL is chef only(?) had 2 Christmas parties of 100 people :-0

As times are hard, my daughter elects to do night shifts in the maternity ward, so she drops grandchildren off on her way to work SiL picks them up on his way home.

They were adorable (as usual). Granny got lots of pictures drawn for her by the younger 2, and the elder one watched a programme on the computer.
Sunday, I cleaned the ice cream and popcorn off the floor, and attacked the table with something strong enough to remove felt tip pen :-D
