baptism records

evening all,
at 66 yrs old , I have just found out that I was baptised somewhere in balham.
i have tried to find my record, but with no success.
all I know is that it was at a church in Bedford hill balham possibly in the late 40's .
can any of you kind people help at all?

Hi Hazel,

You wiould need to find the name of the church first.....than see if any of their records have been deposited anywhere from that time,or still held with the church if its still there.

West Surrey Family History Soc maybe able to help you.
they have a website.
