could it be the glue didn't stick Muffy? Or were the envelopes split across the top? If the latter I would report it.

actually, I think that the price of "a" stamp,is not too dear, really...........

its when "you" decide to send mail to all the family members and hangers-on and it comes hard realising the cost of 30 plus stamps(or more)

Not exactly split across the top Ann, but it was definitely a case of them being opened deliberately because you could tell they'd all been ripped a bit in places ....

Muffy. That is not acceptable, it is an offence to tamper with mail addressed to someone else. You need to report it to the Post office,

I should've done really Paula...I shall be keeping a close eye though and if I get anymore I will put in a complaint. Fortunately no one sends cash through the post to us so they're wasting their time anyhow...but that's not the point ! x

There are so many 'specials' helping out at this time of year and they are no longer checked for records etc. A lot of dubious characters get in on the act hoping for rich pickings. Report it anyway - they will then be watched if they have a regular walk to do. Hubby did 32 years on the post.

Our old postman once said they like things like that to be reported because they can be aware and keep check on the situation.
