Celebrity Big Brother 2013: House details revealed! It will be a Swedish ice hotel theme complete with igloo!

It’s been revealed today that there’s a frosty reception awaiting the celebrities who go into the Celeb Big Brother house in January as not only has the house been transformed into a Swedish ice hotel, but it also has a cosy igloo where romance can blossom.

The igloo, which will be in the garden and built entirely out of ice block, will contain fur rugs and blankets and will be the “perfect place for frisky stars to snuggle up.”

A show insider told the Daily Star, “This is a first for us. We’ve never had an igloo before.

“If a couple of celebrities get steamy in there, they just might melt the ice.”

The paper adds, “On launch night they will discover the Big Brother house has been turned into a winter wonderland.”



There are to be icicles inside and outside the house, while the seating area will also be dominated by fur.

They will enter the Diary Room through blocks of ice and the kitchen will have a Scandinavian feel with wooden fittings and a yellow and brown colour scheme.

In the garden, as well as the igloo, there will be a Northern Lights mural, silver birch trees and of course, the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The house has 45 cameras, including infra-red cameras for night filming, and 67 mirrors that hide cameras.



The new series of Celebrity Big Brother of course launches on Thursday, January 3 on Channel 5, and among those rumoured to be going in so far are X Factor star Rylan Clark, Steps singer Claire Richards, MTV’s The Hills duo Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and Page 3 model, Lacey Banghard. :-D :-D :-D :-D
