"A blogger has claimed that the Youtube video showing an eagle 'swooping in' on a toddler and trying to fly off with him is a hoax.
The viral video is apparently the work of some creative students at the Montreal-based Centre NAD.

A blog post owned up to the fact that the video was the work of pupils studying the school's 3D Animation and Digital Design program."

Yes, it is a hoax. I read that they are being investigated now for cruelty to the eagle.

"The golden eagle is a scarce visitor in the Montreal area," said bird expert Kenn Kaufman, cited by the observatory in a Facebook posting, adding that the bird in the video is not a golden eagle, "nor anything else that occurs in the wild in North America."

I saw that "news" clip yesterday.

Stopped the video and watched it frame by frame........ it was a clown doll!

I expect there will now be idiots out there shooting eagles.

We had an eagle here last year........ for some reason it attacked our outside light! Ripped off one side of it. It's a wonder the bird wasn't fried.
