I don't think tha Ancient Mayans have any explaining to do. They would have just made a new calendar.

It's thede New Age Mayans that cause all the bother.

lol, it's all academic now, as I'm still here together with several people I saw whilst on my early morning walk.

I now have to rush out and buy all the Christmas presents which I thought would not be required :-D :-D

Oh yes and....a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New year to each and every one of you, and your families

wish I hadn't eaten all those chocolates I bought for Crimble now!! and I've just stacked the dishwasher with a pile of stuff cos I thought why waste energy washing them - doh

Just before midnight we heard rumbling..............

Thunder & lightning! Rain in giant buckets

Looked out the window, but couldn't see the four horsemen because of the heavy rain.

Fell asleep during the banging and crashing.

Still here................ :-D

I'm wondering how the New Agers enjoyed their Mayan Solstice festival last night in Byron Bay. Were they dancing in the rain? :-) I hope they weren't doing a rain dance, we've had enough rain this month.
