My grandfather told a story about Christmas Eve when he was in the trenches in WW1. The fighting stopped. The soldiers from both sides met in the middle, wished each other Merry Christmas, swapped cigarettes, and chatted as best as they could. A few hours later they were shooting at each other again. I believe this happened in many places. |

............it will be 4:30am in Afghanistan. Whilst we all open our presents in the morning its will be midday in Afghanistan! They will be fighting the enemy whilst we have fun at home!
