I don't mind Jason. You know where you stand with him. It'll be interesting to see how things go between him and Karen.

I hope Samia stays in for a while. I don't care if she wins or not but the erm...scenery is very appealing ;-)

Two things spoilt the show for me - having Ashley on the judging panel and that terrible presenter Christine.

Brilliant start to the series and a shame that anyone had to go. Standard was very high for the first one.

Pamela Anderson looked very good in training but looks like nerves go the better of her on the night.

I thought Keith was good he looked confident, Samia was ok for a 1st night and the other bloke was good I thought Beth was outstanding Shane was boring.

I am not over struck on the sniping by the judges Karen look like she was gagging for a row with Jason, Jason I thought gave them some good advice and like he said, I am only telling you this so you can improve, so karen constantly snarling at him just makes her look very unprofessional. :-|

I do think that Karen made herself look bad. Maybe she is smarting because they brought back Jason because the viewing figures fell drastically after he left.

In a TV mag he said he was prepared to put it behind him but it takes two to rebuild a relationship. Maybe she feels untouchable as she is 'in a relationship' with Christopher Dean. I can't say I like her very much. Jason does give good advice which is what he is there for. Karen seemed to be over marking to me.

I felt Karen overmarked slightly too, except maybe with the exception of Beth. Jason didn't surprise me in the slightest, he's always marked lower than the other judges on most occasions.

I enjoyed the show last night. The standard of skating was higher this year and I think they all did well. It'll be interesting to see how next week compares to this week.

I though Beth was excellent although I do think Jason had a point when he talked about the performance but, as Robin said, that will come in time. Matt Lapinskas put on a great performance too.

I missed most of it unfortunately but I saw Karen, what on earth have they brought her back for, she does not do anything to promote the show. Jason has always been outspoken but underneath his comments are helpful suggestions which is what a judge is there for. Who was that other female, she was so loud that I turned the sound off.
Will watch the program later on this week to see the contestants but won't bother watching the judges.-jl

I thought that Keith skated better than Shayne.

Love the combination of Beth and Dan.

Not sure why the production team thought that Ashley would be a suitable judge.

That was ridiculous. Neither of them should have been in the bottom two in the first place. Joe should have gone, he can't skate to save his life.

Yes, I agree it should have been Joe and Samia in the skate off.

Rose, I never vote and don't usually have a particular favourite until the last 2/3 shows when I find myself leaning towards one of the skaters more than the other's. I do agree with you that people assumed they were safe though. This was Shane's best week too.
